CAD drafter

Job description

We are recruiting a CAD Drafter for our office in Mechelen to support our Engineering Department.

If you are passionate about drawing, but also want to participate in the development of technical solutions for the customer, you are the ideal candidate.

• You verify the drawings and the quantities for complex price offers
• You develop design and/or execution drawings for infrastructure projects in consultation with the Departments Study, Calculations or Execution.

You report to the head of the Engineering department.

 

Profile

• You hold a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the preparation of design and/or execution drawings, preferably for infrastructure works.
• You have a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D), but other software packages are also an asset.
• Experience in the use of “Building Information Model” or BIM is a major asset.
• You are a dynamic, analytical and knowledge-oriented person. In terms of quality you are committed to achieving the prescribed results within the set timeframe.
• You are flexible and can easily adapt to the changing priorities in a rapidly evolving environment.
• You work pro-actively, meticulously and methodically.
• You have a sense of responsibility. You know that errors in drawings can lead to additional costs that cannot be recovered anywhere else.
• You can work independently, you are detail-oriented and have the ability to be flexible in performing multiple tasks.
