Site Supervisor Infra region Flemish Brabant - Limburg

Job description

As a Site Supervisor, you will support our future road and sewerage construction sites in the region Flemish Brabant and Limburg. You organise the sites from start-up to completion with the greatest care for safety and quality. During the project, you work closely together with project managers, foremen, workers and subcontractors.

  • You identify the tasks to be executed, the equipment and other requirements the client has on the basis of the tender.
  • You set up the site taking into account the safety of all those involved; you supervise and enforce the safety procedures; you remind the workers of these procedures.
  • You train the workers; you monitor the performance of the subcontractors and your own employees and direct them; you give clear and simple instructions.
  • You take care of the necessary work preparation and instructions at site level.
  • You explain the technical execution of the work to be executed.
  • You order the necessary materials to guarantee the work continuity.
  • You set out the required measurements and levels, whether or not in consultation with the topography department for a fast and error-free execution.
  • You inspect the progress of the work, taking into account the specifications and planning drawn up.
  • You check the quality of the work executed.
  • You do the necessary administration on a daily basis.
  • You take return into account and intervene when necessary.
  • You help to search for optimisations and take on a commercial approach.
  • You lead meetings for discussing work carried out at the site.
  • You are always trying to find possible improvements in processes, systems and working methods to increase return.

You report to the project leader.

 

Profile

  • You have preferably graduated as an industrial engineer (architecture) and/or have already had work experience.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the infrastructure or asphalt department.
  • You are result-oriented with an eye for efficiency, focus and return.
  • You work punctually, accurately and systematically.
  • You have the necessary sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently.
  • You use your managerial qualities on a daily basis; you know how to uphold the group spirit.
  • You pay attention to detail and can handle multiple tasks with a high degree of flexibility.
  • You are flexible in terms of hours and distances.
  • You are strong in communication, have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and can communicate fairly well in French.
  • You are motivated and eager to learn.
  • You have a degree in industrial engineering (architecture) and have already worked as a site supervisor in sewer renovation.
  • You are result-oriented with an eye for efficiency, focus and return.
  • You work punctually, accurately and systematically.
  • You have the necessary sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently.
  • You use your communicative and managerial qualities on a daily basis.
  • You pay attention to detail and can handle multiple tasks with a high degree of flexibility.
