Job description

As a project leader, you develop and manage projects through the deployment of people and resources and the monitoring of budgets in order to realise the project optimally within the set deadlines. The following points will certainly be addressed:

• You ensure an efficient and balanced use of people and resources; managing, motivating and supporting a team of site managers is your responsibility.
• In the case of large projects, you closely follow the deadlines and site and you guide site management where necessary.
• You monitor the processes and procedures in the context of safety/quality/environment
• You are responsible for the complete administration and financial processing of the site files, you monitor the progress reports and you adopt a commercial attitude.
• You have good contacts with customers, subcontractors, etc. with regard to the agreements made.
• You are in close contact with various departments, including purchasing, calculation and you ensure a good interaction with solid work preparation.
• You work well with site managers and the head of department to achieve the best possible result.

In this role, you report to the Viabuild Sud Director.

 

Profile

• You have a higher technical diploma (professional bachelor or master industrial engineer).
• You have 5 to 10 years of experience as a project manager in infrastructure or road construction.
• You are flexible in a quick switch between indoor and outdoor work and can easily adapt to changing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
• You can independently perform the assigned work on a site.
• Communicating and motivating people are your strengths.
• You have a thorough knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel).
• You are punctual, accurate and systematic in your approach.
• You are proficient in French, with notions of Dutch.
