Senior Project Manager

In the B2B business unit, we focus mainly on projects in the industrial sector where safety, quality and planning are our customers’ absolute top priorities. In partnership with our customers, suppliers and subcontractors, we constantly strive to realize high-quality projects.

We are looking to recruit a (senior) Project Manager for one of our sites.

• You will be required to develop and manage projects by deploying the necessary people and resources.
• You will monitor the budgets in order to complete projects successfully within the prescribed deadlines, safety frameworks and budgets.
• You will follow the implementation deadlines and site closely and make adjustments where necessary.
• You will monitor procedures and implementations in the context of safety/quality/the environment.
• You have a commercial mindset.
• You make correct and clear agreements and ensure that they are met.
• You work closely together with the various business units/staff services within Viabuild

Profile

• You preferably have a degree in engineering or equivalent through experience.
• In this position, we expect a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience as a project manager, preferably in road construction or civil engineering.
• You have successfully managed 8 to 10 construction projects involving complex civil works.
• You have managerial as well as organisational skills.
• You have a very good understanding of contracts.
• You have a commercial mindset.
• You are independent, stress-resistant and hands-on.
• You have good communication skills, have an excellent command of English and knowledge of other European languages is considered an asset.
• You have the necessary sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently, attention to detail and flexibility in dealing with multiple tasks.
• You are prepared to travel for work.
