Wir schaffen das! While one data centre is still under construction, our international department is already working on the next. In Frankfurt, they are currently building the FRA21 data centre. Here, we are responsible for the earthworks, the landscaping or environmental elements and the construction of the building itself.

The groundworks and environmental elements consist in laying underground pipes, creating green zones and excavating the basement. For the latter, we were responsible for 30,000 cubic metres of excavation work. In addition, we also took care of the foundations, the concrete structure and the open shell. For this, we used 1,200 hollow walls produced in-house by Viabuild. The building itself consists of two parts, namely the Main Hall where the data centres themselves are located and a Front of House that mainly consists of offices, meeting rooms and other office facilities. We are very excited that we can realise this project!
