Viabuild renewed the road and sewage system in the Canadalaan in Antwerp. An inner courtyard with made-to-measure concrete benches and 3 wadis was also constructed.

The excavation of the courtyard was done by means of a Bull with 3D motion control system. This way earth movement was kept to a minimum and the wadi could be dug out in only one operation. The works were hampered by the presence of a large quantity of waste and rubble in the subsoil.

There was a lot of painstaking work involved in placing the made-to-measure concrete seating elements in line with the designs in order to obtain the beautiful result.
